Is it permissible to pay money to someone in exchange for finding a job in the government sector, especially if the expected income from this job is the sole source of livelihood?

If the work is permissible (halal) and you cannot access it except by paying money to individuals who facilitate the matter for you, and this does not result in injustice or the infringement of anyone's rights, then there is no blame upon you for doing so.
