The answer

What a child spoils of another's property obligates their guardian to return it or compensate for it from the child's own money. If the guardian does not do so, the obligation does not fall away from the child, and it becomes incumbent upon them to return the right to its owner upon reaching puberty. The questioner must return the toy or its value to its owner, or seek forgiveness from them. Disposing of its value in charitable acts does not absolve them as long as they are able to return it.
