Is using the siwak permissible after Zawāl, along with mentioning the evidence?

It is permissible for a fasting person to use the siwak throughout the day, due to the general hadiths that encourage it without specifying any restriction, and no authentic text has been reported that prevents a fasting person from using it. The majority of scholars have adopted this view, while Al-Shafi'i disagreed, deeming it disliked at the end of the day, citing the hadith: "The smell of the fasting person’s mouth is sweeter to Allah than the scent of musk." However, this smell is not removed by the siwak.
