Is it permissible for women to visit the grave of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

It is impermissible for women to visit graves due to the generality of the narrations prohibiting it and cursing them for doing so. Refraining from visiting the grave of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is more cautious and more in line with the Sunnah (definition), because his grave or any other was not exempted; rather, they were prohibited in a general sense. The obligation is to adopt the generality because there is no text that specifically exempts his grave.
