What is the ruling on purchasing a house and other necessities with money acquired from gambling (horse racing), with the intention of the undertaker dedicating the remaining money to charitable works and public facilities?

If the money was acquired from a permissible prize competition (such as horse, camel, or archery competitions), then what is purchased with it, like a house and furniture, is permissible. However, if the money was acquired from impermissible competitions (such as competitions involving songs, beauty pageants, or football matches), then it is unlawful wealth that must be disposed of by spending it on the public welfare of Muslims. If what was purchased with unlawful money can be sold, it should be sold, and its price spent on public welfare. If it cannot be sold (such as musical instruments), then it should be destroyed.
