Is it permissible for a suitor to speak with his fiancée daily and go out with her in public places?

The fiancée is a stranger to the fiancé before the marriage contract. Therefore, it is not permissible to be alone with her or to shake her hand. This is supported by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Beware of entering upon women." It is also not appropriate to invite her to dinner, even in the presence of common people, for fear of falling into temptation and sin, as Allah the Almighty says: {O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing.} [An-Nur: 21]. As for speaking with her, it should be limited to necessity and without submissiveness in speech.
