What is the ruling on one who slept, woke up, and prayed the prayer as a make-up?

If someone misses a prayer due to sleep, it falls into one of two situations:

1. Slept before the prayer time began: He is not sinful, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no negligence in sleep." 2. Slept after the prayer time began and did not take measures to wake up: This person is negligent and sinful.

In both cases, one must hasten to make up the prayer upon waking.
