The answer

Supplication is one of the most beneficial legitimate means, coupled with having a good opinion of Allah. However, its acceptance does not necessarily mean that the requested outcome will be achieved. Allah may answer your supplication without predestining for you marriage to a specific person, due to a wisdom He knows. We advise you to offer yourself to a righteous man whom you wish to marry, through your mahrams. If he proposes to you, then that is excellent. Otherwise, accept whoever proposes to you from among those who possess religiousness and good character, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) advice. Know that good lies in what Allah chooses for you, so ask Him to destine good for you and make you content with it.
