Is it permissible to memorize the Qur’an without diacritics (tashkeel), knowing that the memorizer makes mistakes in them?

Whoever wishes to recite and memorize the Qur’an must recite it correctly, with its proper letters and vowelizations. It is not permissible to substitute one letter for another or one vowelization for another, as that constitutes an alteration of the words of Allah. One who makes mistakes in recitation is either blameworthy and sinful due to negligence, or not blameworthy, such as a non-Arab, a beginner, or one who cannot find a teacher. There is no blame upon the latter, and they will receive a double reward. It is recommended to learn from proficient scholars or students of knowledge, or to listen to prominent scholars via modern devices for those who cannot find a teacher. The one who is skilled in the Qur’an will be with the noble and righteous scribes, and the one who recites the Qur’an with difficulty, stammering through it, will receive a double reward.
