The question

Is it permissible for me to let my father use my phone to watch the series "Diriliş: Ertuğrul," which contains unveiled women, embrace scenes, doctrinal transgressions, and glorification of Ibn Arabi, or to browse the internet where he might unintentionally see pictures of unveiled women? And what should I do about it: should I merely advise him or prevent him from using the phone? And what if he intentionally views pictures of unveiled women?

The answer

If you know or strongly suspect that your father will use your device for impermissible acts, then it is not permissible for you to give it to him, lest you assist him in sin, in accordance with the ḥadīth: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to Allah." You should be gentle with him and kind in offering advice and in apologizing for declining his request.
