To what extent are the names of the prophets mentioned in Ibn Kathir's book "Qisas al-Anbiya" (Stories of the Prophets) – such as Seth, Joshua, Al-Khidr, Ezra, and Daniel – accurate, given that they are not mentioned in the Holy Quran?

The number of prophets and messengers is very large: one hundred and twenty-four thousand prophets, of whom three hundred and fifteen were messengers. The Quran mentioned only twenty-five of them, and the Sunnah (definition) mentioned some other prophets like Seth, Joshua son of Nun, and Daniel. As for Al-Khidr, the preponderant opinion is that he was a prophet, while it has not been proven with evidence that Uzair was a prophet.
