What is the ruling on working in a restaurant and shopping center that sell alcohol, crosses, and statues, given that my work is limited to the shopping section and I do not directly deal with forbidden things, and in light of the scarcity of job opportunities?

There is no harm in working at the store and benefiting from its money, as long as you do not directly engage in unlawful acts or assist someone who does, and provided that you are not involved in selling or marketing alcoholic beverages or crosses. It is preferable, however, to move to another job if you find one, because it is not permissible for a Muslim to be present in a place where he sees or hears wrongdoing, except for a valid reason.
