What is the ruling on working in the trade of tobacco and selling it in stores, and what should someone who is unable to stop selling it in their store do?

Cigarettes are forbidden, both in sale and consumption. The money earned from them is ill-gotten and unlawful to benefit from. Whoever sells them or works in their sale must cease doing so. If the employer insists on selling them, then the employee must leave this job.
