What is the religious ruling on dealing with a brother who does not pray and drinks alcohol, and who insulted the Divine Being and did not apologize, if his boycott for this reason lasts for more than three days?

If a Muslim curses Allah Almighty while intentionally intoxicated, the majority of jurists rule that he becomes an apostate, and the ruler must execute him unless he repents. However, the HḤanafīs hold that he does not apostatize but has committed a grave sin, and he should be subjected to a ḥadd punishment and discretionary punishment (taʿzīr).

As for dealing with him and shunning him, if shunning leads to deterring him, then it is preferable. But if connecting with him will reform and guide him, then not shunning him is more appropriate. The ḥadīth that prohibits shunning for more than three nights applies to shunning for personal reasons, whereas shunning for a religious matter is permissible.
