Is Umrah accepted if a person had stolen money from his father in the past and repented, but he does not currently possess the money to return it and fears informing his family?

Theft is forbidden in Islam. The thief must return the stolen money to its owner or seek their forgiveness. If they cannot inform the owner of the matter, they can return the money to them as a gift, with the intention of restoring the right and generally seeking forgiveness. As for the acceptance of Umrah, theft does not affect its acceptance. However, settling debts is obligatory and takes precedence over spending on Umrah, unless the creditor gives permission.
