What is the ruling regarding a woman who was devoted in her obedience to Allah, then a white man visited her in a dream and circled around her, after which she started predicting things that are semi-correct, and this became widespread among people who began frequenting her, claiming she knows the unseen, knowing that "none knows the unseen except Allah"? And what is your advice to her?

Claiming knowledge of the unseen is disbelief (kufr), and believing someone who claims it is also disbelief, based on Allah's saying: (Say: "None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (unseen) except Allah.") [An-Naml: 65]. Absolute unseen is known to none but Allah. As for relative unseen, which some people know while others do not, it may be known through espionage or through jinn, both of which are forbidden. Jinn do not know the unseen, as indicated by Allah's saying about the death of Sulaiman: (But when he fell down, the jinn clearly saw that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in the humiliating torment.) [Saba: 14]. Claiming knowledge of the unseen in the future falls under soothsaying, and consulting a soothsayer is impermissible; whoever believes him becomes a disbeliever. A soothsayer's occasional truthfulness might be due to coincidence with destiny or jinn eavesdropping, after which they add a hundred lies. Dream visions do not form the basis of Islamic rulings, and what the woman saw is considered a manipulation by Satan.
