How should a wife deal with her husband who watches pornography, knowing that he is unaware that she knows, and she does not wish to confront him? Should she treat him with kindness and gentleness or with coldness, especially since he generally treats her well?

Watching pornography is an abhorrent evil and an act of ingratitude for the blessings of health and free time. It is an even greater sin for a married person who substitutes what is lawful for what is forbidden. We advise patience, remembrance of Allah (dhikr), and supplication for him to attain piety, guidance, and chastity. Treat him with kindness and offer indirect advice, such as playing audio clips containing admonitions, inviting him to Quranic study circles, and reading books of Sunnah. Conceal his sin as long as he conceals it himself.
