What is entailed for one who shortened his hair by clipping it in separate places instead of gathering it and shortening it all at once in previous Umrahs, due to ignorance of the ruling?

The best way for a woman to exit the state of ihram after performing Umrah is to gather her hair to the front of her head and cut the length of a fingertip, so that the shortening encompasses all of her hair. If she takes from any part [of her hair], it suffices her according to many jurists, but the first method is preferable to avoid disagreement.
