Do the noble verses (At-Tawbah/101) and (Muhammad/30) indicate that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did not know the hypocrites around him, and if that is the case, why do some narrations, hadiths, and sayings of scholars indicate that he did know some of them, and how did Allah Almighty warn against them by saying: (They are the enemy, so beware of them) if he did not know them, and does the presence of hypocrites from among the people of Medina contradict the uprightness of the Companions?

Allah Almighty informed His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) of the presence of hypocrites around him and in Medina, and that he did not know all of them, and that Allah alone knew them. Allah informed His Prophet of some of the hypocrites by name, and he informed Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman of the names of some of them. He also informed him of some of them by their characteristics, such as their speech and the tone of their words. It has been confirmed that the Prophet (peace be upon him) informed of the presence of hypocrites among his Companions, and that their number was small, and that they were known to him and to Hudhayfah, or known by their descriptions. Allah has preserved the Hadith (definition) of His Prophet (peace be upon him), so no one who was accused of hypocrisy transmitted any Hadith. This confirms that the presence of hypocrites does not undermine the integrity of the Companions or cast doubt on the narrators of Hadith.
