The answer

Night and day visions are equally truthful, for Ibn Sirin said: "A day vision is like a night vision." It is not permissible to prefer one over the other based on weak hadiths.

As for visions after reciting the Quran, their truthfulness has not been established. However, the visions of righteous people often come true, for the more truthful and righteous a man becomes, the more truthfulness prevails in his visions. Visions differ according to people's ranks; the visions of prophets are all truthful, the visions of the righteous are mostly truthful, while others' visions contain both truth and jumbled dreams.
