Does establishing a news website that allows people to express their rejection or support for certain types of news, by voting on them, and displays a daily list of this to news sources, count as enjoining good and forbidding evil through speech? And is earning profit from this website permissible, given concerns that people might enjoin evil, or broadcast news mentioned in the verse: "And when there comes to them a matter of security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it to the Messenger and to those in authority among them, then the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from them would have known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few"?

There is no objection to creating a website for publishing permissible content. Those in charge of it must prevent and block bad and indecent news. As for profiting from the website, it is permissible as long as it is not in exchange for forbidden content. The owner will be rewarded for the good intention of opening a media platform to spread the truth. Receiving financial compensation for the website's services does not negate the good intention, for seeking worldly fortune does not prevent seeking heavenly reward, as in the verse: {There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord}, and the hadith: "Whoever kills a slain person, his spoils are for him." Receiving payment for teaching the Qur'an does not contradict obtaining reward and recompense from Allah if the intention is pure.
