To what extent is the hadith sound: "Whoever breaks the fast of a fasting person with lawful food and drink, the angels will pray for him during the hours of the month of Ramadan, and Gabriel, peace be upon him, will pray for him on the Night of Qadr"? And why are the hadiths narrated by Ali ibn Zayd considered weak?

The aforementioned Hadith (definition) is weak, as it was narrated by Al-Bazzar, Al-Tabarani, and others through the chain of Ali bin Zayd bin Jud'an, from Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab, from Salman Al-Farsi. Ali bin Zayd was deemed weak by scholars due to his poor memory and numerous errors. Furthermore, the two narrators from him, namely Al-Hasan (definition) bin Abi Ja'far and Hakeem bin Khutham, are also weak. For this reason, scholars, including Ibn Al-Jawzi and Al-Albani, have explicitly stated the weakness of this Hadith.
