What is the ruling on the Hajj of one who borrowed money during Hajj to buy the fidyah or the sacrifice? Is it permissible to pay the price of the hady or the fidyah to another person for them to carry it out? Is it permissible to share in a cow for hady or fidyah with different intentions? Is it obligatory to repeat the Farewell Circumambulation for someone who bought food for himself or his family after it?

If one cannot find a sacrificial animal (hady), then he must fast three days during Hajj and seven days upon returning to his family. He is not obliged to take a loan to buy the hady. There is no harm in a pilgrim taking a loan. Appointing an agent to slaughter the hady is permissible, and his presence is not required. It is permissible to share in the hady; a camel or a cow suffices for seven people. It is permissible for some of those sharing to intend it as an act of drawing closer to Allah (qurbah) and for others to intend it for meat. After the Farewell Tawaf, the pilgrim is not permitted to engage in buying, except for what is absolutely necessary for his journey. If he prolongs his stay, he must repeat the Tawaf or offer a fidyah (expiation).
