The division of the estate of the deceased, who left only those mentioned, would be as follows: The mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of a lineal descendant (inheriting branch). Her husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a lineal descendant. Her daughter receives one-half. The remainder goes to the two sons of the son's son by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance). The mother's child, the full-sibling's fetus, and the paternal cousin do not inherit due to the presence of those who preclude them. The estate is divided into twenty-four shares: four for the mother, six for the wife, twelve for the daughter, and one share for each of the two sons of the son's son. Matters related to inheritances must be referred to Sharia courts to verify all details, wills, and debts.
