What is the difference between al-tar‘eed and al-tarjee‘ in recitation, what is their ruling, and can this be confirmed with examples?

Al-Tar'eed (trembling) is a vocal tremor during recitation, resembling the voice of someone shivering from cold or pain. It may also mix with musical melodies, and it is prohibited. As for Al-Tarjee' (reverberation), it has two meanings: The first is the repetition of the sound when shaking an animal, which is excused. The second is the full vocalization of a madd (vowel prolongation) in its proper place, which is permissible for a soft, unforced recitation. As for melodizing (talheen) and trilling (tatreeb) in recitation, they are forbidden if they alter the wording of the Qur'an or obscure its meaning, due to their resemblance to the states of amusement and singing, and because the manner of Qur'an recitation has reached us through continuous transmission without melodizing or trilling.
