Must one inform one's mother of the details of a sin and ask for her forgiveness, or is concealment more befitting? And will Allah forgive as long as concealment is achieved, despite the mother's knowledge on the Day of Judgment and her lack of forgiveness?

Adultery is one of the most heinous sins, and undergoing an operation to restore the hymen is impermissible. However, whoever repents with a sincere repentance, Allah will accept their repentance, and repentance wipes away what came before it. It is incumbent upon one who has committed a sin to conceal themselves, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever commits any of these abominations, let him conceal himself with the concealment of Allah. For whoever exposes his misdeed to us, we will carry out the punishment of Allah upon him." Therefore, it is not permissible to inform the mother or anyone else about what happened; rather, one must conceal oneself and strive in repentance and steadfastness.
