The answer

The Hadith: "Indeed, Allah loves those who are persistent in supplication," is not authentically attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Al-Albani described it as false and fabricated. However, persistence in supplication by repeating it has been confirmed through the actions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Muslim narrated from Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that when he supplicated, he supplicated three times, and when he asked, he asked three times. Al-Nawawi stated the desirability of repeating supplication three times. Al-Bukhari mentioned the Hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, repeated the supplication when Labid ibn al-A'sam bewitched him. Ibn al-Qayyim said that persistence in supplication is one of the most beneficial remedies.
