What is the ruling on one who views the cutting off of the thief’s hand and making a woman’s testimony half that of a man as harshness and an infringement upon women’s rights?

Whoever describes the rulings of Sharia, such as cutting off the hand of a thief or the half testimony of a woman, as cruel or as undermining rights, is an apostate from Islam and a disbeliever in Allah. He must repent, otherwise, he will die as a disbeliever. This is because these are the rulings of Allah. Allah has clarified the wisdom behind cutting off the hand of a thief as a deterrent punishment, and the wisdom behind the testimony of two women for one man as being so that if one of them errs, the other will remind her.
