Which great Companion was spoken to by the angels?

Perhaps the Companion inquired about is Imran ibn Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him. Al-Tabarani narrated with his chain of transmission from Qatadah that the angels used to shake his hand until he was cauterized, but Al-Albani judged this narration to be an odd (munkar) one. However, Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned in Al-Fath that it has been authentically established that Imran ibn Husayn used to hear the speech of the angels, and Al-Mubarakfuri stated in his commentary on Al-Tirmidhi that the angels used to greet him with peace.
