Does anything result from a gift book on which is written at the bottom, "Wa وقف لله تعالى (Endowment for the sake of Allah Almighty)"?

If a book is inscribed with "Wa وقف لله تعالى" (Endowment for the Sake of Allah), it is not permissible to sell it. It must be allocated to the entity for which it was endowed. If the book was received as a gift from a publishing house that made this endowment, it is permissible to benefit from it and to gift it to students of knowledge, but it is not permissible to sell it. An endowment is a binding contract that cannot be revoked or sold, unless its benefits have ceased, in which case it may be sold and its proceeds spent on a similar endowment. It is not permissible to sell endowed books. Rather, one must benefit from them or give them to those who can benefit from them without charge. It is permissible for students of knowledge to exchange endowed books among themselves without compensation in order to benefit from them.
