Is what was seen, of stars falling and streaking in an unusual manner at dawn on the 27th of Ramadan, and their decrease on other days with their increase at dawn on Friday, a sign of Laylat al-Qadr and the answering of prayers? And can anyone see that, or only those whom Allah has honored with it?

Allah may single out some of His creation and apprise them of a sign of Laylat al-Qadr, as happened to some of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. They saw Laylat al-Qadr in a dream during the last seven nights. Thereupon, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I see that your visions have concurred on the last seven nights. So, whoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights."
