Is it permissible to give zakat to one's fiancée to help her secure marriage essentials, knowing that I sometimes assist her with my own money?

The recipients of Zakat are eight categories specified by Allah, and it is not permissible to disburse it for purposes other than these. A "faqir" (poor person) is someone who possesses neither wealth nor income sufficient for their basic needs. It is permissible to give Zakat to an engaged woman if she is in need of essential provisions. However, for non-essential or luxury items related to marriage, it is not permissible; instead, these should be given as a gift or present.
