Can a woman help her husband provide housing from her own money if she is employed and he is unable to provide housing due to financial hardship, and is this considered a lack of reliance on Allah or materialism?

Exerting material efforts and entrusting matters to Allah does not contradict tawakkul (reliance on God). A woman working out of necessity or need is permissible if it adheres to the dictates of Sharia, and it is a commendable form of cooperation for the completion of marriage. There is no harm in you temporarily helping your husband as long as your work does not conflict with his rights or lead to the neglect of the home or children. The husband must be convinced of the necessity of cooperation in building a Muslim household. If the husband is unable to provide for maintenance and housing, he is given a grace period of three days; otherwise, the wife may request the judge for annulment. If she endures, it is better.
