What is the ruling regarding the woman and her child's inheritance after the husband's death, if she gives birth to a full-term child seven months after marriage and claims she was pregnant with him by another man?

The fundamental principle is that any child born to a wife during the marital union is attributed to her husband. Thus, if a wife gives birth to a child six months after her marriage, the child's lineage is established with the husband, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "The child is for the bed, and for the adulterer is the stone." The husband cannot deny the child's lineage unless through li'an (oath of condemnation). If he does not deny the lineage through li'an, then the child is his and inherits from him. If the husband dies while his wife is still under his marital authority, she inherits from him.
