The answer

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to perform (exorcism/healing recitation) with the two Mu'awwidhatayn (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas). When he felt ill, he would recite them upon himself and blow (gently). When his pain intensified, Aisha would recite them upon him and wipe him with his own hand, hoping for its blessings. He sought refuge with the Mu'awwidhatayn when they were revealed, abandoning all other forms of seeking refuge. He also used to perform ruqyah for some of his companions by saying: "In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah heal you, in the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you."
