Does the Hadith: "When Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, loves a servant, He afflicts him to hear his voice," mean that not being exposed to calamities and trials in life indicates that Allah does not love that servant?

The hadith: "The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people, He tests them. Whoever is content, for him is contentment, and whoever is displeased, for him is displeasure," indicates that tribulation is a sign of Allah’s love for His servant, and it encourages patience after its occurrence, not seeking it.

The hadith does not indicate that Allah does not love those who are healthy, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to ask Allah for well-being (al-afiyah), and he never ceased to supplicate for it morning and evening.

So, Allah loves His believing servants, whether they are afflicted or healthy. Tribulation is praised because it purifies from sins, and whoever is granted well-being is free from calamities that are punishments and ailments that are expiations.
