Does the ruling on the child born of zina lapse after marriage, allowing him to be attributed to his father, or does the principle "the child is for the bed" remain?

Adultery is one of the major sins. The child conceived through adultery is not attributed to the adulterer according to the majority of scholars. Some of them held the view that it is permissible to marry the woman with whom one committed adultery while she is pregnant with his child, and the child is attributed to him if she is not married. Scholars differ concerning the validity of the adulterer’s marriage to the woman with whom he committed adultery before she gives birth.
