Is money earned from downloading a program that displays ads in exchange for points, which are then converted into cash, forbidden (haram) or permissible (halal)?

There is no impediment to accepting money in exchange for watching advertisements, whether it is considered a gift or a wage, provided that the content of the advertisements is Islamically permissible, and does not include forbidden things such as usury or alcoholic beverages, or images of immodestly dressed women.
