ما هي أنواع الرقية؟

Ruqyah is of two types: Permissible Ruqyah, which includes a text from the two revelations (Qur'an and Sunnah) or a supplication free from shirk (polytheism), and it is prescribed to perform it for the benefit and treatment of people. And impermissible Ruqyah, which includes shirk or something whose meaning is unknown, and it is forbidden due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, incantations (ruqa), amulets (tama'im), and love charms (tiwalah) are shirk."
