Could you tell us the story of Idris (peace be upon him)?

Idris, peace be upon him, was a prophet whom Allah described with truthfulness (Siddiqiyyah) and prophethood. He was raised to the fourth heaven. Most of the narrations about him come from the Israelites' accounts, which can be considered for general understanding but not definitively proven. Al-Tabari and others mentioned some accounts about him, such as that he was the first to write with a pen after Adam, that he engaged in jihad, cut and sewed clothes, and was the first to take captives. It is also mentioned that he enjoined his people to obey Allah. It is narrated that Allah raised him after he had lived 365 years. Some claimed that he was sent to all the people of the earth, that the knowledge of past generations was gathered for him, and that he was given thirty scrolls. The veracity or falsity of most of these details cannot be asserted definitively, so they may be narrated for contemplation but not for deriving rulings.
