Does the repentance of one who abandoned prayer after observing it—due to Satan and bad company—and is now determined to repent, get accepted?

One must hasten to sincere repentance for abandoning prayer and regret what has passed, for Allah accepts sincere repentance no matter how great the sin; as He states: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin." To remain steadfast in repentance, one should abandon bad companions, strive in supplication and remembrance, struggle against one's desires, attend circles of remembrance and knowledge, and associate with righteous people. The majority of scholars hold that missed prayers must be made up.
