Does a son who invoked a curse upon his father and caused his death inherit from his estate, and will his father's curses against him come to pass?

A son's prayer against his father is an act of disobedience (ʿUqūq) that necessitates repentance. There are three impediments to inheritance: slavery, murder, and difference in religion. Disobedience is not an impediment to inheritance, nor is it considered a murder that prevents inheritance. The prayer of a parent against their disobedient child is likely to be answered, but it may not be answered if it is without right and contains no sin. It is recommended to frequently seek forgiveness (Istighfār), supplicate (Duʿāʾ), and give charity (Ṣadaqah) on behalf of the father.
