How sound is the Hadith: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi ten times after every 'Asr prayer before rising from his place, Allah will grant him ten things..."?

Ayat al-Kursi is the greatest verse in the Qur’an. The narration about reciting Ayat al-Kursi ten times after the 'Asr prayer has no basis. As for reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer, several hadiths have been narrated concerning it. The soundest in terms of chain of transmission is the hadith of Abu Umamah: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death." The authenticity of this hadith is disputed, between those who strengthen it and those who weaken it. Ibn al-Jawzi greatly exaggerated by including it among the fabricated hadiths. However, the hadith has other chains of transmission that strengthen it, indicating that it has a basis and is not fabricated. In conclusion: It has not been narrated in the Sunnah that it is desirable to recite Ayat al-Kursi ten times after the 'Asr prayer; rather, what is narrated is the desirability of reciting it once after every prayer.
