The answer

No authentic has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding the virtue of reciting Surat Al- one hundred or two hundred times. What has been narrated in this regard is weak and not authentic. The narrations mentioned in this context, such as: "Whoever recites 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' two hundred times every day, his sins of fifty years will be erased, unless he owes a debt," and "Whoever recites 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' once, he will be blessed...", and "Whoever recites 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' two hundred times, his sins of two hundred years will be forgiven," are all weak or fabricated due to the weakness or mendacity of their narrators. These hadiths have been declared weak by Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Kathir, Sheikh Al-Albani, and the Permanent Committee. Although other authentic hadiths about the virtues of Surat Al-Ikhlas are established in Al-Bukhari and Muslim, they do not address the aforementioned meanings.
