What is the right of the contracting party to enjoy his wife before the wedding, and what are the sayings of scholars regarding this, especially the saying of Ibn Taymiyyah, bearing in mind that Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Yaqoub believes that whoever enjoys his wife before the wedding commits a sin?

If the legal contract has been concluded, the woman becomes the wife of the contractor, and it becomes permissible for him to enjoy her. However, custom dictates that consummation should not occur until after the wedding, and this custom should be adhered to, as it is considered valid by scholars as long as it does not contradict Islamic texts. Observing this custom prevents disputes and protects honor, because cohabitation before the wedding can lead to significant disagreements if a pregnancy occurs or the marriage is not completed, which would put the girl in an embarrassing situation and harm her reputation and the reputation of her family.
