Is the intention for an 'aqeeqah permissible if it changed during the slaughter without the knowledge of the one performing the slaughter, and without verifying whether the first 'aqeeqah had already been slaughtered or not?

What is considered for the slaughter of the 'aqiqah and the udhiyah is the intention of the one who commissions it, not the agent. So, if the one who commissions it intends that the 'aqiqah is for himself, it is valid for him, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended." The agent's intention that the 'aqiqah is for himself or for his daughter does not matter; it is akin to two sheep being slaughtered as common property.
