Is it affirmed in the Qur'an or Sunnah that men are intellectually stronger, more far-sighted, and better planners than women?

The Holy Quran indicates the preference of men over women, and that this is one of the reasons for men's guardianship over women, as stated in His Almighty's saying: (Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given some over others and by what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth). This preference is for the gender, not for individuals. So, a woman being more knowledgeable and intelligent than some men does not negate the general preference, because the ruling is based on the غالب (predominant).
