The suitor must be informed about the fiancée's illness, and it is not permissible to conceal it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He who deceives us is not of us." And whoever fears Allah by not deceiving the suitor, Allah will grant her a way out and provide her with what she desires, as Allah the Almighty said: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent."
