The answer

This is not found in the relied-upon books of hadith; rather, it is one of the fabricated, false hadiths attributed to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The scholars have explicitly stated that the injunctions attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, which he supposedly enjoined upon Ali, and all statements starting with the vocative particle "Ya" (O) from the Messenger to Ali, are all fabricated, with the exception of his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "O Ali, you are to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me." One must be cautious of being deceived by such fabricated hadiths and propagating them, as this involves misleading the public and lying about the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. For he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him take his seat in Hellfire." The authentic hadiths are sufficient, making it unnecessary to resort to the reports of liars and fabricators.
