A person cannot protect himself except by staying away from such paths. Among the signs of fearing Allah is abandoning desires after committing forbidden acts. It is imperative to remain steadfast in this position and not respond to requests for friendship with a foreign woman. If there is true love, then marriage is the only legitimate path, with the choice of a woman of good character and religiosity. Illegitimate communication between a man and a woman leads to temptation and corruption of the heart. Whoever wishes to marry should inform the guardian of this.
